Norway’s Highasakite return with‘Camp Echo’ , an album full of punchy electronic/pop goodness. Camp Echo is the third album from the band, it's a collection of 9 tracks all individually bringing a different element to the sound of highasakite with the raspy vocals Ingrid Helene Håvik and a tight sound from the band.
Taking its name from one of seven detention camps within Guantanamo Bay, ‘Camp Echo’follows Highasakite’s debut LP of 2014, ‘Silent Treatment’ – an effort applauded on both sides of the Atlantic and also holding the record for longest consecutive run in Norwegian chart history with more than two years in the Top 40. The album includes back-to-back singles ‘Someone Who’ll Get It’ and ‘Golden Ticket’, now boasting in excess of 4 million streams and hailed by the likes of The Guardian, The FADER, BBC Radio 1 (Huw Stephens) and Vogue. ‘Golden Ticket’ is afforded a stunning, and increasingly spangled, new video that sees vocalist Ingrid Helene Håvikteaming up once again with Helmet Films & Visual Effects.
