Kendrick Lamar's new album 'untitled unmastered' , is the fourth coming album from the rapper. Lamar dubbed the compilation untitled unmastered, with the eight tracks untitled leaving interpretation up to fans. Instead, the beats are listed with dates ranging from 2013 to 2016, potentially referencing when they were originally recorded or at least conceptualised by Kendrick. The bare titles aren't the only differences separating this album from the previous titles, Lamar has tapped into an even more soulful, jazzy and altogether groovier style for these songs than his last three collections.
Lamar vaulted to the top of the rap world with "To Pimp A Butterfly," his third studio album, which brought him five Grammy awards. The Compton-based artist found himself on top of music charts, on the cover of Rolling Stone and in the Oval Office, discussing life in the inner cities with President Barack Obama, a topic Lamar focuses on in his songs. Lamar’s "How Much a Dollar Cost,” from his last album, was Obama’s favorite song of 2015, the president said.
