In a surprise announcement this morning, Montreal indie kings Arcade Fire have issued the first information on their documentary film titled, "The Reflektor Tapes".
The film is expected to appear in theatres in North America and Canada on September 24. No information on whether the film will hit international theatres.
The feature film, Arcade Fire's first, is described as, "a unique cinematic experience, meeting at the crossroads of documentary, music, art and personal history.”
The band have shared the first glimpse of the film in the form of a short clip set to their "Reflektor" track 'Porno', compiling footage of the band visiting Haiti, as well as performing; Régine Chassagne and Win Butler portray lovers and don strange outfits.
