Melbourne's BATZ offer up a rambunctious visual accompaniment to single, 'Save Us', premiering via Savage Thrills this week.
The new video for 'Save Us' shows off BATZ notoriously raucous live act in all it's sweaty glory. Capturing Chrissie Aubry's captivating stage presence and the five-piece's razor-sharp performance, the clip follows two huge single launch shows earlier this month in Sydney and hometown of Melbourne. BATZ will be following up their mini-tour with an (almost sold out) house party-style show at Collingwood's Foxxy Dolphin on July 19, with a portion of proceeds going to CASA House (Centre Against Sexual Assault), a department of the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne.
Aubry explained her decision to donate a portion of ticket sales to CASA House saying, "Once we heard the horrific news of the murder of Eurydice Dixon, I without a doubt decided to donate a portion of ticket sales to a charity dealing with sexual assault victims. This show is going to be really important and really special. Myself and Dali (bass) are both women who enjoy being out at night so this hits close to home."
BATZ latest offering, 'Save Us' has received triple j and Double J airtime, strong community radio play, including an add to FBi rotation. The track was engineered and produced by Alex Markwell (The Delta Riggs) and mastered by David Briggs (Little River Band and Australian Crawl). BATZ' latest stomper that follows enigmatic single 'Gameshow Queen' (2017) and fiery debut EP, 'Night Terrors' (2016). With new single 'Save Us', BATZ have well and truly come out of hibernation, guns blazing and guitars at the ready to woo you like never before.
