We are stoked to premiere Pure Milk's music video for catchy new track M1 Southbound. Following a road trip from Brisbane to Gold Coast in peak hour traffic after a long, hot Gold Coast summer, the track describes an anxiety filled trip on a Friday afternoon through its dissonant guitars and barrelling drums, It's ugly, uncomfortable and worse still, it's so. damn. catchy
DIY is what stands at the forefront of Pure Milk. Brandishing their distinct take on Australian 'Garage Punk', Pure Milk breeze their way through shambolic tunes about mid-20's life.
In early 2017, Pure Milk began as the bedroom-recording project of Lewis Nitschinsk. In between jobs and uni and with plenty of spare time, Lewis began crafting the demos of what would become Pure Milk's first songs.
City Limits, their debut single, was recorded and produced by local Gold Coast heartthrob Clawmachine and released in early 2017, instantly gaining attention from triple j Unearthed and other Australian blogs. from there, Pure Milk began playing shows throughout South East Queensland quickly gaining a reputation for shambolic live shows that could get any crowd moving.
