Following on from their groundbreaking debut album of 2012 "Plains", Sydney's The Laurels have announced a triumphant return with new single 'ZODIAC K' and a co-headline tour with Nicholas Allbrook!
'Zodiac K' is the newest cut from The Laurels upcoming second record and marks an exciting new direction in sound for the band. Evolving yet maintaing The Laurels magic signature and sound we've all come to love. The band are also now joined by Jasper Fenton on drums who also plays in the prestigious Decoder Ring.
Taking the road in early August, The Laurels will be joined by one of Australian music's greatest and strangest, Mr. Nicholas Allbrook. If you've somehow been living under a rock for the past five-or-so-years, Allbrook is the frontman of Pond, drummer for Peter Bibby, founding member of Mink Mussell Creek and ex-Tame Impala bass player and noise maker with many more. Allbrook's debut solo album, "Ganough, Wallis and Fatuna" released last year was met with extreme critical praise.
