Tash Sultana has done it again, after selling out all over Australia late last year, she has sold out shows over Australia for her 2017 National tour in less than 11 minutes in some states. Causing her to book a back to back tour around Oz that sold out just as quickly.
Joining her on her journey these next few months are Ocean Alley, reggae rockers from North Sydney. Reuben Stone from Tash’s home town Melbourne, and on the Perth leg local artist Riley Pierce.
Landing two songs in the Triple J Hottest 100 this year, 'Jungle' coming in at #3 with no surprises from her fans, and securing #8 with her debut EP ‘Notion’ on the ARIA album charts. Tash hit the Jays studios for a like a version last week and blessed us with an incredibly captivating and groovy cover of an old favourite, ‘Electric Feel’ by MGMT.
So should Tash be booking bigger venues? This is a question a lot of people are asking, but then would we miss out on the intimacy these smaller quaint venues have to offer? Whatever she decides to do this amazing young artist is humbling each state with her presence twice already this year. Best to follow this one for future gigs, don’t miss out again!
