The Gum Ball Music and Arts Festival has announced the artist playing times schedule for 2016. Australia’s next crop of musical trailblazers are a feature of The Gum Ball’s opening night, with performances by Sydney grit blues duo Polish Club, Brisbane psych-rockers The Belligerents, blue-eyed soul group Sex on Toast and the 10-piece instrumental hypo funk of The Cactus Channel all included on the Friday line-up.
The evening will be headlined by acclaimed ARIA award-winning powerhouse Dan Sultan and Indigenous electro dub outfit OKA. Saturday's schedule also features a “who’s who” of esteemed musicians. Included are guitar virtuoso Jeff Lang to rising hip hop star Citizen Kay and surf rock supergroup The Break.
As the sun sets on Saturday, modern country rock outlaw William Crighton will launch his incredible debut record before incomparable Aussie rockers You Am I step on to the Dashville main stage to do what they do best.
The Gum Ball camping festival runs from Friday, April 22 to noon on Sunday, April 24.
