After the world premiere of new single 'Nervous' by Zane Lowe on Beats 1 yesterday, The Neighbourhood are back with their eponymous third album. The Neighbourhood will be available March 9 via Columbia Records
The new instalment from the band features highlights from the band's last two EP's HARD and to imagine (released September 17 and January this year, respectively), including fan-favourites 'Stuck With Me', 'You get Me So High', 'Sadderdaze' and current US chart-climbing single 'Scary Love'.
Described as :bass-obsessed '80's giants, fuzz obsessed soul men, cosmos obsessed rappers or guys drunk on their own experimentation" (Buzz Bands LA), The Neighbourhood's colourful catalogue staunchly contrasts their career-long black and white aesthetic. The first cuts from the album show another twists with guitars making way for synths and sleek, spacious production proving their uncanny ability to reinvent themselves in the most uncompromising of manners.
Soon, The Neighbourhood will be heading to South America for Lollapalooza festival run in March before heading off on their headlining North American tour, which will see the band play 15 shows across the continent with HEALTH, including both weekends of Coachella.
