Aussie indie band, Verge Collection are kick starting 2018 with the release of their brand new single ‘Feelin’ Old’, ahead of the release of their debut album, ‘Flaneur’ which is out March 30.
In celebration of this, Verge Collection will be setting off on their biggest tour to date in April this year. The Perth boys will be heading to 8 locations around Australia to showcase their new album with the punk rock trio from Woolongong, White Blanks.
The boys from Verge Collection have enlisted the help of the same production team behind their 2016 Triple J hit ‘Our Place’, and with this same production team, Flaneur is the kind of album that really sets a band off and solidifies their spot within the Aussie music scene.
Verge Collection’s frontman, Ben Arnold, says of the new single ‘Feelin’ Old’ that it was a space where he could explore “the great realisation of mortality”. “It’s one of those make or break kind of events, knowing that you will eventually disappear one day really forced you to enjoy as much life as possible and however you react to it, it changes your perspective on everything” he says.
Verge Collection last show in 2017 ‘For the Story’ was completely sold out at every venue, so if you would like to catch Verge Collection and White Blanks, check out the tour dates and locations below and then secure your ticket at https://www.vergecollectionband.com/.
