LANEWAY FANS – Thrash outfit carved straight out of a slab of VB, Violent Soho, have given you even more of a reason to get excited for St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival hitting the Brisbane City this Saturday on the 6th of February! With their new release ‘Like Soda’ getting an immense amount of success –demanded to be the new Australian National Anthem – Soho have just dropped a fresh track in preparation for the new LP ‘Waco’.
Being put on the shelves on the 18th of March, this will be Soho’s latest release since their Hungry Ghost album back in 2013 – so you can definitely understand why it’s so highly anticipated.
The new sound ‘Viceroy’ brings familiarity and the traditional Violent Soho sound that we all know and love. The tune emphasizes the definition of Australia into a short 3 minutes with raw, raspy vocals and a message of control and illusion, as described by guitarist and songwriter Luke Boerdam.
