VERA BLUE - 'Regular Touch' (Universal Music)
Vera Blue today releases her infectious new single, ‘Regular Touch’ and builds anticipation for her debut album Perennial which is out THIS Friday July 21, just in time for her appearance at this years Splendour In The Grass. ‘Regular Touch’ was penned with longtime collaborators Andy and Thom Mak (Boy and Bear, Winterbourne, Bertie Blackman) and Gossling and is the next step in the powerful and personal journey for Vera Blue.
Vera Blue on ‘Regular Touch’: “Regular Touch was written in the very early stages of Perennial at a time in my life where I wanted to feel contentment on my own. I had this vision of myself feeling free from the chains of heartbreak and needing someone, anyone to feel complete and of purpose.
The most incredible thing about this song is that it's exactly how I feel right now in my life. So free and happy within my own skin, focused and independent. Regular Touch is very similar to ‘Settle', a song from my previous record ‘Fingertips'. Though ‘Settle' is a personal reflection about anxiety and fears, it was written at a time where I was yet to feel clarity of my path in life and what was best for me.
It's okay to be without someone's 'Regular Touch'.
I've developed a sense of self love rather than constantly needing attention and affection, 'loving' for happiness.”

MORNING TV - 'Let It Lie' (Habit Music)
Hailing from Sydney, guitar pop quartet Morning TV are today thrilled to share the first taste from their forthcoming EP ‘Sun’ in the form of track and video accompaniment ‘Let It Lie’ via Habit Music Company. The track premiered this week via The Lazy Lazy Me.The track was recorded and mixed in the Blue Mountains by Tom Bamford, using the natural reverb of
bathrooms and hallways to enhance the flavour of the track. Taking inspiration from the ocean and the surrounding natural environments in which they live, Morning TV have created a unique and ethereal sound reminiscent of a warm summer’s day.
“Let It Lie is about the tension between logic and emotion, idealism and reality in friendships,” the four-
piece explain. “We really enjoyed working on this song and experimenting with sounds.”
“We worked on many different drum sounds for this track but the simple drum machine beat along with the live drums in the chorus worked perfectly.”

GOLD CLASS - 'Rose Blind' (Barely Dressed Records / Remote Control Records)
Gold Class have released their new track and video 'Rose Blind'. 'Rose Blind' is the searing second single to come from their new album Drum – out via Barely Dressed Records / Remote Control Records on Friday 18 August.
With a raging and all-consuming chorus, Rose Blind explores themes of personal and societal politics. Vocalist Adam Curley explains “We wanted to write something with a big, raging chorus. It's a love song, really, but a love song to a friend. It's about feeling that even though you don't know what the future is going to look like, nothing can touch you because you'll get through it together.”
'Rose Blind' is accompanied by a dark and ambiguous video directed by Defero Productions. Having trawled through car wreckers, making a sculpture with a few parts they found, Curley explained that “the idea was to examine skin and human figures against both brutal and soft materials in an uncomfortable way”

THE NEW YORKS - 'We Enjoy This Way Too Much'
The track is seriously steeped in early-2000s indie rock influences, but somehow still exists as new today. Evoking thoughts of The Strokes, Catfish And The Bottlemen and early offerings from The Jungle Giants. We Enjoy This Too Much goes hard and fast, guitars and riffs abound, and buoyed by clever lyrics and lead vocalist Vinnie Barbaro’s energetic performance. This Adelaide band has had their track mastered by Ryan Smith (Paolo Nutini, Talking Heads, The National & Ozzy Osbourne) which is pretty all time! The band will be releasing an EP 'Wish I Was You, But That’s Just Me' and will be setting off on tour to celebrate.
